Kunwar Biseshwar Pratap Sahi, through his maternal grandfather Rai Bahadur Babu Bhagwati Saran Singh inherited the property at Anapur in 1945 and as of 2020, four generations of Sahi’s have lived there.

The tradition of Dussehra Ramleela, a three-day festival holds utmost importance. All the Sahis’ gather and celebrate the Dussehra festivities together keeping up old traditions in a new modern democratic India.

Ramleela is the enactment of the Ramayana during the Navaratri and followed by two days after the Vijayadashami. The second day after Vijayadashami is celebrated as  Bharat Milaap and the third day symbolizes the enthronement of Lord Rama.
