“Day of Arur” finally arrived. Aaron took his old gold coated axe from his chest which was presented by his father during his last moments. He remembered everything as if it happened just yesterday but it was about six years from now.
He remembered how his father asked him to visit the “Carin Souls” which was in the “Murmur woods.” He still remembered how his father wept for not getting the opportunity to see God Friery. Thinking about all of it, Aaron walked towards his destination. He knew that his family’s history would set forth a milestone by unleashing the ultimate power that the entire Jackals are waiting for today. Though he walked fast, Aaron reached the forest mid noon. He walked into the forest without any hesitation and was desperate to search the “Tree of Urmin.”
He walked for hours but could not find any tree that resembles what he was told. He felt like something was stalking him all along his journey but he could neither find it. He walked for miles through every swamp and marsh, but he could not find anything. He was exhausted and his body urged for immediate rest. He splashed some water from the stream nearby onto his face and picked up some fruits to eat. The fruit was as sweet as honey and his hunger made it even sweeter. He satisfied his hunger and quenched his thirst and now while he wanted to continue his search he fainted all of a sudden.
Aaron saw a fairy with light blue wings saying “Strike the Axe to the ground chanting the holy name of God Friery and the tree shall present itself.” As soon as she said that, he woke up and could find his axe just beside him. He caught his axe and as directed he hit it hard to the ground and shouted “Hail Friery.” For a second every tree in the forest disappeared and the only tree that was visible was “Urmin.” Aaron described it to be different but it was just a small dead tree that could be cut off with two axe strikes. He walked near the tree and he could hear the fairy voice again saying to cut off the tree.
He took the axe and as suggested he cut off the tree with just one stroke. As soon as he cut the tree, a crimson cloud appeared from the bark of the tree from which God Friery with his shining grace appeared. Aaron bowed shortly after he could see God Friery.
God Friery said “Raise my child! I am blessed to have your family to unleash me.”
Aaron replied saying “It was a blessing to my family God Friery.”
Friery smiled saying “Now that I am unleashed. I have to get back my possessions to attain my throne for which you shall act as per my request.
Aaron nodded while Friery continued saying “I want you to marry the Ugly Sisters.”
After saying it, even God Friery wondered if Aaron would accept his request for there wasn't even one prince who even dared to look at them.
Aaron immediately said he was willing to do anything for his God. Friery loved Aaron’s devotion and said “I want you to travel to Cargill city and visit necromancer Larin as from now he will be your guide.”
Aaron bowed again and as soon as he looked up God Friery disappeared. Aaron walked back with his axe. As soon as he reached out to the forest, he saw a white unicorn waiting for him. Aaron ascended it and started riding. Though brought up as a woodcutter, Aaron learned his basic defending and riding from his teacher Lord Grim. He rode for a long time and reached the City of Drim. From there, he took a break and had his dinner in a nearby cottage and took a rest that night. The next morning before the sun rose he rode to the place where God Friery wanted him to go.
He reached before noon and in the city of Cargill he enquired about Larin and finally found the building. It was a decent building and looked nothing different. As soon as he knocked on the door of the silent building an old woman opened it.
She stared at him and welcomed him without another word. Aaron was surprised as he was expecting at least a question. Though old, Larin had her own charm and she wore a black robe and it was the only sign Aaron could find her being a witch. To her right hand index finger she wore a ring having a green emerald.
Aaron was about to introduce himself. However she spoke before him saying “His holiness has informed everything about you and I am more than blessed to help you on your journey.” Saying this she pulled out a scroll from her robe. It was a blue scroll tied around a red ribbon. It was small enough to be covered by a hand.
Aaron took the scroll and was awaiting instructions. Larin said “Throw the scroll down on the ground and an oval shaped greenish yellow portal would arise. Inside it will lie your path but before you step in think about the place you want to visit.”
Aaron thanked Larin and left with the scroll. Without a second thought, he threw the portal down on the floor. As informed, a greenish yellow portal formed. Aaron thought of the Red castle and stepped in. For about a minute Aaron did not know what happened but at the end of the journey he opened his eyes to see himself standing before the Red Castle. Aaron could see that his clothes changed over the course of his journey. His rags turned to royal robes and to his belt there was a sword attached.
He walked towards the castle gates but was denied permission to enter as he was not recognised. Later he was asked “With all honor sir, may we know who you are?”
Aaron stated his name and his reason to visit the king. However the guards could not identify him nor could allow him to enter into the castle. Aaron made up his mind to stand before the gate until he was welcomed. Hours passed but no one did invite him as he expected. After standing for about six hours, Aaron lost his patience and that is exactly when the gates opened and the holy priest walked out along with four other preachers.
The guards bowed at their arrival and they walked towards Aaron who happened to be standing beside his horse. The holy priest said “In the name of God Friery the dream was true! Please follow me my lord.”
Aaron stared at the priest for a few seconds and walked behind them. The Arc brothers who were behind the high priest generated a flame from their right hand. Seeing it drums were played in the city center. All people who were asleep woke up and walked out of their homes to see why guards were summoned. As they walked they could see Aaron following behind the preachers. Aaron could see people amazed to see him and he could see some of them bowing to him as soon as he passed them. He was surprised by the sudden honor after all he was just a woodcutter till the day before. The high priest took him to the sealed “Temple of Friery.” Arc brothers left at the steps of the temple standing before the throng that gathered before the temple.
High priest walked till the sealed door and before opening he said “My name is Olin and I serve our God Friery. Earlier today I got to know about your arrival while I was meditating. I wanted to meet you and here we are. I was ordered to make arrangements for you to marry the princess and I will introduce her to the king in just a few hours and from there your journey shall begin.”
