Happiness

Five-year-old Molly asked her dad, “What is happiness?”

So the next day, her dad surprised her with the toy of a speaking Barbie. She was overjoyed and spent every waking and sleeping moment with it.

A week later her dad promised another gift and even as Molly waited by the door, the next day, her dad came home with a huge box. While she looked on with excitement, her dad opened the gift to reveal within it, ten dolls of the same Barbie make. Her smile turned upside down.

But her dad smiled. He said, “Come let’s go out.”

Taking the dolls with them, they wandered around the whole block. He then asked her to distribute one each to all of her good friends. It was to become their lifetime bond now. Molly was elated.

But as they neared back home, when all the dolls were given away, she came across a poor girl who was staring longingly at their toys. Her dad looked at Molly wondering on her response.

In a blink, Molly ran indoors and got her own doll and give to the poor girl.

‘Happiness lies is knowing why to take and when to give.’

The deadline for the sample submission is 28th February 2022, and the decision as to who got the commissioning will be informed by 2nd March 2022. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Hello readers,

On 11th December 2021, WP Team held its first Annual Meet in Visakhapatnam at Sai Priya Resorts, and was attended by nine artists. After cancelling the last meet on 7th March 2020, Writers Pouch’s Managing Director, Mr P. C. Ravuri, could only conduct another meet this year after two waves of the Covid-19 pandemic in a variant threatened, yet recovering world.

Though Annual Meets are by design held to get all creatives minds to know each other, this meet had two significant announcements too. The first was from Mr P. C. Ravuri on how the community would be even more Creator-driven starting from 2022. He announced,
“Our Core Team for 2022 is passionate about turning our entire community even more Creator-driven than we are now. We are willing to trust our Creators and take chances in new art forms. We will also expand our existing story-telling base and soon put out content that will certainly be worth our consumer’s time.”

Following him, the Marketing Manager of Writers Pouch, Ms Nikhila Kotni, announced how collaborations and sales will change starting 2022. She stated,
“We have always wanted the best for our Content Creators, and from 2022, we will be expanding from books to illustrations, short films, posters and various other products. We will be launching our digital store called Writers Pouch Store and provide our consumers timeline updates to be informed when to expect the product they are interested in buying. We will also provide pre-orders on most products to secure a first-day purchase.”

Apart from these announcements, our team plans to make many more updates during the Annual Digital Meet planned on 26th December 2021, including our updated Core Team for 2022. We thank you for your time and wish you to take care and stay safe.
